Nakasagupa ng mga tauhan ng Philippine Army ang mga miyembro ng BIFF sa Sitio Perez Brgy. Maitumaig Datu Unsay Maguindanao.

Tumagal ng mahigit dalawang oras ang palitan ng bala sa magkabilang panig.

Samantala, tumanggi naman ang Philippine Army na pangalanan ang namatay at isa pang sugatan.
