Wow! Sariling Oil Field ng Pilipinas, Pormal ng Binuksan ni Pangulong Duterte

Pinangunahan ni pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang pagbubukas ng 42,749 hektaryang Alegria Oil Field sa Cebu para sa commercial production.

Ayon sa naging ulat ng MANILA BULLETIN na nakuha nilang inpormasyon mula kay Department of Energy (DOE-7) OIC-Regional Director Engr. Saul Gonzales, ang lungsod raw ng Alegria na matatagpuan sa Cebu ay may deposito ng crude petroleum at gas. Nasa 9.42 billion cubic feet ng natural gas reserves mayroon ang nasabing lugar habang nasa 27.93 million barrels of oil (MMBO) naman sa crude petroleum.

Ito ang buong talumpati ni pangulong Duterte sa nasabing lugar.

Kasama ng pangulo sa site sina DOE Secretary Alfonso Cusi, Alegria Mayor Verna Magallon at Chairman ng China International Mining and Petroleum Company Limited (CIMP Co. Ltd) na si Lam Nam.

Nasa 60 percent share ang makukuha ng gobyerno ng Pilipinas dito na naaayon sa Presidential Decree No. 87 (the Oil Exploration and Development Act of 1972).
